What is RCK?
A physical check that was presented but returned because of insufficient funds may be represented as an ACH entry. By using ACHeck21® any business can re-present returned checks.
How RCK Works
- When submitting a check for electronic debit to the customers account - the debit is rejected by the customers bank – insufficient funds, account closed etc.
- ACHeck21® captures the returned check and reason for the return and posts it to the Gateway.
- By using ACHeck21® the check may be presented again or may be sent to collections.
- ACHeck21® maintains an image of the check for future reference.
